Appreciate your reading and your thoughtful response. I agree that the Constitution necessarily limits the bounds of the Court's authority and no one wants to see a Court that acts as a dictatorship. That being said, I gues my main point in all of this is simply that the Court could have - as another Court did - find a fundamental right to abortion in the Constitution. And while this Court might find flaws in the prior Court's reasoning, based upon my reading of Alito's draft, the majority could have just as easily found an alternative path to affirm that right today, but it chose not to. I'm very anxious to see what the actual dissenting opinion looks like. Thanks again.
