I genuinely appreciate this viewpoint about independence from partisanship and political parties, but Sinema seems like an ill-suited flag-bearer. She is as tainted as any politician, if not arguably more so, by the influence of money and lobbyists. She is a byproduct of Citizens United and would seem to symbolize corporate interference and corruption in politics more than she heralds democratic voter interests. Her primary objection to Build Back Better, regardless what you think of it, was its proposal to close the hedge fund tax loophole. I'm sure her constituents didn't really care too much about that, but her wealthy donors sure did.
